UAE is making effort to further boost its position as a primary destination for international investors and top talent from across the globe and further its UAE residence visa.
Keeping this thing in mind a new system of entry visas was adopted by the UAE cabinet on Sunday for professionals and investors – which will provide them with a long-term visa for up to 10 years.
The decision was taken during a cabinet meeting chaired by His Highness Shaikh Mohammad Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai.
Amendment in UAE Residence Visa
As per the new visa system, UAE will take steps to further attract more investors and make things more comfortable for them. This will improve the economic competitiveness of the country on a global platform.
It is expected that by the end of this year, the global investors’ ownership of UAE based-business will reach 100%.
The new system will grant 10 year residency visas to investors and specialists in scientific, medical research and technical fields, as well as for all innovators and scientists.
5 years residency visa will be granted to students who are studying in UAE and 10 years visa will be given to exceptional students.
The cabinet will also extend residency permits for students sponsored by their parents so they can easily reside in UAE after completing their university studies.
