205 Candidates Invited by British Columbia in May 2nd Invitation Round

205 candidates from the skills immigration and Express Entry categories were issued invitation by British Columbia on May 2nd draw.

In this invitation round, an unknown number of candidates from the Express Entry BC International Graduate and Express Entry BC Skilled worker sub-categories received invitation under the Skills Immigration Registration System of British Columbia. These candidates were having a minimum score of 91.

All these candidates who have received invitation under the Express Entry sub-categories and they got approval from British Columbia for provincial nomination will now have 600 additional points under the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS).

With these points, these candidates stand a strong chance to receive the Invitation to Apply (ITA) in the subsequent Express Entry draw.

The application of the candidates who have been invited in the Skills Immigration Categories will be processed outside the Express Entry system once a nomination is received by them from British Columbia.

A candidate is required to have an intermediate, full-time job offer from an employer in the province so as to become eligible for most of the immigration categories that are run by British Columbia.
