3,000 Express Entry candidates were invited by Canada to apply for permanent residence in a draw that was held on February 21st. The cut-off score from the Comprehensive Ranking System was at 442 points for this draw.
In this latest draw a total of 3,000 Invitation to Apply (ITAs) were issued and this number is same as the draw held on February 7th. This is the second consecutive draw wherein a total of 3,000 aspiring immigrants were sent invitation to apply.
In the recent two draws, there has been an increase of 250 in the number of ITAs that have been issued as compared to the previous five draws.
Just like in the previous draws, tie break rule was used by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) in this draw as well. For this draw, February 11, 2018 at 17:03:32 UTC was the time and date picked up for the draw.
This means that all the candidates who had scored over 442 CRS points and had submitted their profile in the Express Entry pool before this time and date were sent the invitation to apply.
