The province of British Columbia of Canada carried out draws on January 31st and February 7th under a number of categories through its Skills Immigration Stream and a total of 383 new invitations were sent out by the province.
The draw that took place on February 7th was carried out through the British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP)’s Tech Pilot Program. This program has been designed to compliment the technology sector of British Columbia, by making efforts to recruit talent by way of weekly draws.
In the draw that was carried out on January 31st, invitations were issued by BC PNP to international graduates and skilled workers through the Skills Immigration – International Graduate, Skilled Immigration – Skilled Worker, Express Entry BC – International Graduate and Express Entry BC – Skilled Worker categories.
Applicants who got the invitation to apply now have a time period of 30 calendar days from the date the invitation has been sent to submit a completed application form through the BCPNP Online registration system. There is no guarantee that the invited candidate will be approved for nomination once an invitation to apply has been received.
In order to become eligible for the BC PNP, a candidate is required to have a full-time job offer from an employer from the province. The employer must be willing to support the person through the process of application.
