Registration Intake Limit Reached for Ontario Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream

The famous Human Capital Priorities immigration stream from Ontario has reached its registration intake limit. This popular program reopened for registration on November, 2nd.

This famous Express Entry-aligned Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) stream forms part of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

It is an immigration program run by Canada through which the province can bring in new immigrants who are found eligible to settle in the province and quickly integrate into the labor market.

Ontario will Accept New Applications for its Express Entry Human Capital Priorities Stream

Ontario's Human Capital Priorities (NCP) stream, the highly famous Express Entry-aligned Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) for immigrating to Canada, is now accepting applications.

Before the end of 2017, it is expected that the OINP will issue new Notifications of Interest (NOIs) to candidates who are eligible in the Express Entry pool.

The news about the reopening of HCP stream was released on Thursday, November 2, by immigration authorities in Ontario.

1 Million New Immigrants in 3 Years till 2020 Canada Sets Ambitious Target

Canada has set up the target to settle one million new immigrants from 2018 to 2020. Immigration Minister Ahmed Hussen has called this as “the most ambitious immigration levels in the recent history of Canada”.

This magnanimous target has been set up by the government in a multi-year Immigration Levels Plan. It was presented in the House of Commons on November 1. Economic migrants will comprise a major portion of the permanent residents who will settle in Canada.

Canadian Immigration Minister Announces 300,000 New Immigrants per Year the 'New Norm'

Ahmed Hussen, Canada's Minister of Immigration, has announced that the country will bring in at least as many new immigrants in the coming year of 2018 as it has planned to in 2017.

These comments from Ahmed Hussen has come at a time when the federal government is planning to come out with its Immigration Levels Plan for the year 2018.

“Three hundred thousand is now our new normal,” stated Hussen, who a higher number is also a possibility for the year 2018.

Quebec Announces Immigration Plans for 2018

The Quebec province of Canada has prepared and released the Immigration Plan for the year 2018. It is gearing up to welcome a number of business persons, skilled workers and family members to become part of the Quebec community.

These new plans have been scheduled to be launched during a transition period of Quebec. During this period, the province decides to bring in new immigration system that is based on what is called as 'declaration of interest' model.

Saskatchewan Accepted 1,000 New Applications for International Skilled Worker Express Entry

The International Skilled Worker - Express Entry sub-classification of the Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has revived for 1,000 new applications. This admission period, which began on October 26, comes almost three months after the past admission on July 27.

The legislature of Saskatchewan refreshed its site the morning of October 26 to report that this Canadian movement alternative was currently open for applicants in the government Express Entry without the prerequisite of a vocation offer.

Children Under 22 Will Be Considered Dependents for Canadian Immigration Application

Starting from October 24, 2017, all children below the age of 22 will be considered as dependents for all types of immigration programs that are run by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

This rule is also applicable for economic migrants and refugees. Before the implementation of this rule, only those children who are below the age of 19 were considered as dependents for the purpose of immigration.

Children who have physical or mental health condition and rely on their parents but are 22 years of age and above, are still considered as dependent children.

Express Entry Immigration Stream to be Launched by Alberta

The Canadian province of Alberta is preparing to launch an Express Entry stream in January 2018. This will enable the province to make use of a portion of its allocation to nominate candidates for the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP).

The program will be run under the guidance of Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC's) Express Entry pool.

As this is done, the province of Alberta will join other provinces who have at least one Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) that is aligned with the Federal Express Entry immigration system.

Applications Accepted for Ontario's Masters and PhD Graduate Streams

The Canadian area of Ontario has revived two well known movement streams for worldwide post-graduates who contemplated in the territory: the Masters Graduate stream, and the PhD Graduate stream. Both of these streams are associated with the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), one of Canada's Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs).

The Nova Scotia Demand: Express Entry program has been designed by the province to pick up highly skilled individuals who wish to live permanently in Nova Scotia. The applicants should be competent enough to find a job quickly in labor market in Nova Scotia.

The office of immigration of the province of Nova Scotia to pick up only those occupations for nomination, depending on the current needs of labor market.
