UK To Announce New ‘Entrepreneur Visa’
Country Aims at Attracting Large Investments
Posted On : 10 November,2010
Taking a cue from the United States to encourage high-tech innovation, the United Kingdom is also following the path by announcing a new ‘entrepreneur visa’. Conceptualized with the goal to make East London as the hotbed for startup ventures, this new visa is targeted to convert East London as the ‘Silicon Valley’ of the UK. As per the reports, UK Prime Minister David Cameron made the announcement that the country is in plans to introduce this new visa on November 4’2010.
This visa is essentially aimed at attracting investor-backed businessmen who want to immigrate to the UK and who aspire at starting high-tech companies. Though UK follows a tier-based system, the introduction of the new ‘Entrepreneur Visa’ is a welcome step for the businessmen who have significant backing from investors. Col. B.S. However, only genuine consultants should be referred to for immigration incase this visa is introduced.
