Good news for Canada Immigration aspirants. This year Canada expects to welcome 240,000 to 265,000 new Permanent Residents. Among them, the quota of 156,600 immigrants is in the Economic Category, 71000 would be in the family class and 37400 would be in Humanitarian Category.

This seems to be the highest level of immigrant in flow in the last 15 years. The Govt. of Canada is determined to improve the labor market; hence they are taking initiative to welcome the professionals it needs the most.

The recent changes to Canada Immigration would definitely help in speeding up processing time of existing immigration cases filed for Canadian Permanent Residency on Canada Immigration bases.

Applicants not eligible for Canada Immigration under federal skilled worker visa Category may apply under other categories such as Provincial Nominee Program or Temporary Foreign Workers, Family Class which are other options to get Permanent Residency for Canada.
