India, became 2nd top source countries for Australia

India became 2nd top source countries for 457 visa holders entered in Australia in 2007-2008.

25% from the UK
14% from India.
 9% from Philippines.
6% each from South Africa, China and USA.

The 457 visa allows immigrants to live as well as work in Australia up to four years. Meanwhile most immigrants apply for permanent visa, and settle in their dream country after getting permanent visa from the immigrant authority. In the year 2007-2008, 25 thousand immigrants (457 visa holder) got settled in Australia that means 30% increase in ratio as compared to the previous year.
