Indian students rushing to new destination

Though the racial attack on Indian students has become hottest news, Australia remains to be the most preferred destination for Indian students.

After US, Indian students rush to this country. According to Human Resource Development (HRD) Ministry, over 95,000 Indian students are studying in Australia at present while 47000 students in Victoria alone.

One most genuine reason is the same educational structure in both countries i.e. 10+2+3 education structure. Indian students find it easier to cope up same structure after migrating to their dream destination. The craving for getting permanent residency in Australia is another valid reason. However China comes first in sending highest number of students to Australia. According to sources, in recent years the number of Chinese students in Australia has risen by 20 percent while the number of Indian students has grown by 55 percent.
