Canada Top Notch Destination for Business

As per the latest Forbes survey, Canada ranks number one as a top destination for business in the world.

Assessing on the parameters like technology, personal and financial freedom, stock performance, property rights, taxes, etc., the survey ranked 130 countries and the best ranks were honored to the deserving countries.

Last year, Canada ranked number four in the survey, however, this year the Maple country raked in the top spot on the list due to a higher score in the tax category.

As described by Forbes in the survey, Canada is an 'affluent, high-tech industrial society in the trillion dollar class’. Also, it was stated that there are many similarities between Canada and the U.S., which includes Canada’s market oriented economic system, affluent living standards and pattern of production.

The ability to protect its investors and counter red tapism, makes Canada a relatively easy place to start a new business, thus, encouraging Business persons and investors to invest in Canada. The latest result of the Forbes survey makes the popularity of Canada as a business destination even more evident.

In the wake of the development, Lt. Col. BS Sandhu (Retd.), CMD, WWICS Group opines, "Canada has always been a favored destination and the latest results are encouraging particularly for the Business persons and Investors who want to expand and diversify their business."

He added that Canada has various Federal programs and Provincial Nominee programs, wherein the business persons, investors and also the farmers can qualify and get Canadian Permanent Residency. Though the Federal Immigrant Investor program has been capped, however, Quebec Immigrant Investor program, Saskatchewan Immigrant Investor programs are popular programs and have been received well by the business persons and farmers likewise.
