The Government of Canada organized one more Express Entry draw in which it invited a total of 3,000 candidates to apply for Canadian permanent residence. The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) for the February 7th, 2018 Express Entry draw stood at 442 points.
It is worth noting here that there has been an increase in the number of candidates invited as compared to the previous six draws. Along with this there has been a two point reduction in the CRS cut-off score in February 7th Express Entry draw as compared to previous draws.
All the draws that have taken place in the year 2018 till now have happened with lower CRS score to that of the initial draws that took place in the year 2017. In the previous year, the lowest score stood at 413 points for the Express Entry draw that happened on May 31st.
Looking at the trend of the past 6 Express Entry draw, the government of Canada is making progress to fulfill its target of bringing in 100 thousand new immigrants in the next three years.
The CRS cut-off score is going down and the number of candidates invited in each draw is increasing. It can be easily said that this is the best time if you want to immigrate to Canada permanently.
