If you meet the criteria set for various categories of Nova Scotia Nominee Program, you would receive a Letter of Nomination, which if further approved by CIC, would grant you Visa under the following categories:
    Skilled Worker
    • Family Business Worker
    • Community-Identified
    • International Graduate
    • Non-dependent Children of Nominees

Nova Scotia PNP Skilled Worker Stream
To be eligible to apply to this category, the Skilled Worker must :
    • have a permanent full-time job offer in Nova Scotia from an established Nova Scotia employer.

      .a) The job offer must provide compensation in the form of a salary and benefits package that meets provincial employment standards and prevailing wage rates
      .b) Priority will be awarded to positions with minimum salary in excess of $10/hour or a minimum annual wage in excess of CDN$20,000

    • have required education, training, transferable skills, work experience and licensing or accreditation required for the job
    • wish to settle permanently in Nova Scotia
    • meet the minimum criteria for age, education, work experience and language ability requirements for this stream
    • have sufficient settlement supports

Nova Scotia PNP Family Business Worker Stream
To be eligible to apply under this category, you must:
    • Have a permanent, full-time job offer in Nova Scotia from an established Nova Scotia business which belongs to a close family member.
      .a) The job offer must provide compensation in the form of salary and benefits package that meets provincial employment standards and prevailing wage rates
      .b) Priority will be awarded to positions with minimum salary in excess of $10/hour or a minimum annual wage in excess of CDN$20,000
