Manitoba Invited 400 Skilled Workers in April 13th Draw

The Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program carried out a draw on April 13th in which 400 Letters of Advice were issued to apply for a provincial nomination.

This is the fifth round of invitations in this year, 316 candidate’s have been issued the Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) under the Skilled Worker in Manitoba Stream.

Candidate with the lowest rank had scored 534 points. Along with this, 84 LAAs were given under the Skilled Worker Overseas Stream’s Strategic Recruitment Initiative.

The Strategic Recruitment Initiative comprised of recruitment mission in which representatives from MPNP conducted interview of foreign skilled workers abroad and LAAs were issued to candidates who were found eligible and a formal Expression of Interest (EOI) was made by them to the MPNP.

Moreover, people who have undertaken a pre-approved Exploratory Visit may also be invited by MPNP provided they have cleared an interview with the program official.

Draws are carried out by MPNP based on an Expression of Interest (EOI) system in which EOI is submitted to the province by potential candidates and a score is assigned to them depending on the answers given in the online system of MPNP.

The Government of Manitoba issue a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) to candidates with highest scores for a provincial nomination.

All those skilled workers in overseas and Manitoba who have been successful in receiving the LAA in April 13th draw will now be able to apply for Canadian permanent resident status with the federal government of Canada.
