Saskatchewan International Skilled Worker: Occupation in Demand and Saskatchewan Express Entry nomination program opened up recently to accept new applications. 600 new applications were accepted under the Occupation in Demand sub-category and 100 new applications were accepted under the Express Entry nomination program.

This ultimately puts them in a better position to receive the Invitation to Apply (ITA) as and when Express Entry draw happens in future.

And SINP occupation in demand is independent of Express Entry whereby after nomination, one can apply for PR directly with IRCC.

The intake cap for both the sub-categories was reached within a day highlighting the popularity of these programs among aspiring immigrants. .

It is worth noting here that the list of eligible occupations has changed slightly for this sub-category. There were 21 occupations in this list previously, which has been reduced to 17 occupations as four occupations have been removed.
