Requirements

A Skilled Worker is assessed on the basis of Educational Qualification which would be assessed by the relevant Australian assessment authority. You must nominate a skilled occupation which fits your skill, qualifications and recent work experience and that occupation must be on the skilled occupation list. Each factor is allotted a maximum number of points and you must attain the minimum points in order to qualify for Permanent Residence in Australia.

You must have adequate settlement funds required for your smooth settlement in Australia. Once your residence application is approved, you may be required to pay a Settlement Information Fee and a Migrant Levy. These must be paid before your residence visa is issued or resident permit is granted.
