The Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) Australia has released the results of “Skill Select EOI Invitation Round” which took place on August 11, 2019 for Skilled Independent Visa (Subclass 189) and Skilled Regional Provisional Visa (Subclass 489).
Invitations issued and cut offs
A total of 200 candidates received invitations to apply for Australia permanent residency in August 11th invitation round.

Point scores and the dates of effect cut off for the pro rata occupations in the 11 August 2019 invitation round
Pro-rata occupations can be classified as those for which there is more demand for places than there are places available. These occupations generally have a point score higher than the non-pro rata occupations.
Due to high demand, the below occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements to make sure availability of invitations across the program year. SkillSelect first allocates available places to Skilled – Independent visas (subclass 189) and then the remaining to Skilled – Regional (Provisional) visas (subclass 489).

Candidates who received an invitation in August 11 invitation round, now have 60 days to submit their complete application to Australian Immigration authorities.
Australia SkillSelect Invitation rounds are anticipated to run on the 11th day of each month. However, dates for the rounds are subject to change. Number of Invitations issued in each round may also vary depending on the number of applications being processed by the department.
