Australia Skill Select Invitation Round Results – 11 June, 2019 (WWICS: 29201906Ga1506)

The Department of Home Affairs (DoHA) Australia has released the results of “Skill Select EOI Invitation Round” held June 11, 2019 for Australia Skilled Independent Visa Subclass 189, and Australia Skilled Regional Provisional Visa Subclass 489.

The table below shows the number of invitations issued in the SkillSelect invitation round on 11 June 2019.

Point scores and the dates of effect cut off for the pro rata occupations in the 11 June 2019 invitation round

Due to high demand, and in keeping with previous years, the below occupation groups will be subject to pro rata arrangements to make sure availability of invitations across the program year.

SkillSelect first allocates available places to Skilled – Independent visas (subclass 189) and then the remaining to Skilled – Regional (Provisional) visas (subclass 489). In case all places are taken up by subclass 189 visas then there will be no invitations issued for subclass 489 visas in these occupations.

The June 11, 2019 draw was the last invitation round for the Australia Immigration Year 2018-19, therefore, the applicants are invited at high immigration point score for both the subclasses. Now, from July onwards, it is estimated that higher number of invitations will be issued with less immigration point score.

The total number of invitation issued in Australia Immigration Year 2018-19 has now reached to 22,920 for Subclass 189 visa and to 120 for Subclass 190 visa.
