Express Entry Draw #121: 10 July, 2019
CRS cut-off score drops two points to 460
Canada has issued 3,600 invitations to apply (ITAs) to Express Entry candidates for permanent residence in a new Express Entry draw held on July 10.
The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) cut-off score threshold in the July 10 invitation round was 460 – a decrease of two points over the minimum score of the previous Express Entry draw held June 26, which was 462.
July 10 draw brings the total number of invitations issued by Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) this year to 45,400.
A tie break was applied by IRCC in the July 10 draw and the time stamp used was June 11, 2019, at 12:27:18 UTC, which means that all candidates with a CRS score of and above 460, who entered their profile in the Express Entry pool before this date and time, received an ITA in this invitation round.
Those Express Entry candidates, who received an ITA in today’s draw, now have 60 days to submit their complete application for Canadian permanent residence.
Keeping in mind Canada’s most ambitious immigration targets and with 45,400 invitations issued so far this year, the rest of 2019 is shaping up to be big for Express Entry. As of July 5, there were a total of 112,810 candidates in the Express Entry pool. Therefore, there is every possibility that future Express Entry draws might result in candidates with CRS scores below 450 points being invited to apply.
