CRS cut off score decreases further in July 24 Express Entry draw (WWICS: 25201907Ga1408)

Express Entry Draw #122:   24 July, 2019

3,600 candidates received ITAs  for Canadian permanent residence

In the latest invitation round through Canada’s Express Entry system, a total of 3,600 candidates with Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores of 459 or higher receive Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for Canadian permanent residence.

The July 24 draw was the fourth consecutive Express Entry invitation round where the CRS cut-off score witnessed a decrease. In the previous invitation round held on July 10, the minimum score was 460 points.

The latest draw also marks the second consecutive time that Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) issues 3,600 ITAs for Canadian permanent residence.

As in the previous draws, a tie break was applied by IRCC in the July 24 draw as well. The time stamp used was May 25, 2019 at 14:40:52 UTC, which means that all candidates with a CRS score of and above 459, who submitted their profile in the Express Entry pool before the said date and time, were prioritized in this invitation round.

This draw brings the total number of ITAs issued by IRCC so far in 2019 to 49,000. With Canada’s high admissions targets for the three immigration programs managed by Express Entry system and its Provincial Nominee Program, there are possibilities that IRCC will exceed its ITA record of 89,800 that was set in 2018.

The candidates, who receive invitations in the July 24 draw, need to submit their complete application for Canadian permanent residence within 60 days.
