In its latest Expression of Interest (EOI) draw held on October 24, Saskatchewan invites a total of 922 immigration candidates in its Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-categories, to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.
A total of 550 Occupations In-Demand candidates received invitations in this selection round while Saskatchewan Express Entry candidates received the remaining 372.
The invited Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand candidates represented 130 occupations included spanned managerial, professional and technical/skilled trades professions and had a minimum score of 69 under the SINP’s EOI points grid.
The Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) has now issued a total of 3,846 invitations to apply for a provincial nomination through its Express Entry and Occupation In-Demand sub-categories over the course of nine invitation rounds that it held since September 25.
In order to apply under both these sub-categories, candidates must register an Expression of Interest, or EOI, with Saskatchewan.
They need to have a minimum one year of work experience in an eligible occupation related to their field of study, among other eligibility criteria.
However, a job offer in Saskatchewan and Canadian work experience are not required to be eligible.
Express Entry candidates, who obtain a nomination through the SINP’s Express Entry sub-category, receive additional 600 points toward their CRS scores, effectively increasing their chances to get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in subsequent Express Entry draw.
The invited candidates now have 60 days to submit their complete application to Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
