Saskatchewan immigration invited 460 Express Entry and Occupation in-demand candidates in its latest Expression of interest (EOI) draw held on 28th November 2019.

Out of the total invites issued, 200 went to candidates under the Express Entry category while a total of 260 Occupations In-Demand candidates received invitations to apply for a provincial nomination.

Candidates received invitations to apply in November 28 draw under both Occupation In-Demand and Express Entry subcategories had a minimum CRS score of 69 and represent total 97 occupations .

Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) is one of the most active Provincial nominee Programs, which allows interested applicants to obtain the permanent residency status in Canada.

Saskatchewan EOI draw takes place every month and candidates need to score a minimum 60 points to start their immigration process.

The two popular streams of SINP – Express Entry and Occupation in demand streams do not require any job offer in Saskatchewan and Canadian work experience from the applicants.

In order to apply under both these sub-categories, candidates must register an Expression of Interest (EOI) with Saskatchewan.

They need to have a minimum one year of work experience in an eligible occupation related to their field of study, among other eligibility criteria.

Express Entry candidates, who obtain a nomination through the SINP’s Express Entry sub-category, receive additional 600 points toward their CRS scores, effectively increasing their chances to get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in subsequent Express Entry draw.

The invited candidates now have 60 days to submit their complete application for provincial nomination to SINP.
