Manitoba Invited 242 immigration Candidates to apply for provincial nomination in February 13 PNP Draw (WWICS: 17202002Ga1744)

Manitoba issued 242 invitations to immigration candidates to apply for provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence in the latest Expression of Interest (EOI) draw through the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP) on February 13.

It was the 83rd MPNP draw under the EOI System and issued invites or Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates across three categories – Skilled Workers in Manitoba, Skilled Workers Overseas and International Education sub-streams.

The invitations were distributed as follows:

Stream Number of LAAs issued Ranking score of lowest-ranked candidate invited
SKILLED WORKERS OVERSEAS 27 (who were invited directly by the MPNP under a Strategic Recruitment Initiative) 611

Out of the total 242 LAAs issued in this draw, 15 went to Express Entry candidates with a valid ID and job seeker validation code.

The MPNP is one of the most popular Provincial Nominee Programs (PNPs). It allows Manitoba to nominate eligible foreign nationals and international graduates of its post-secondary institutions for Canadian permanent residence through its three popular streams.

Express Entry candidates, who received provincial nomination from Manitoba, get an additional 600 points toward their Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) scores. These 600 CRS points effectively guarantee them an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canada PR in subsequent Express Entry draws.

The Candidates, who received invitations in February 13th draw, now have 60 days to submit their complete application for provincial nomination to MPNP.
