Saskatchewan invited 610 Express Entry and Occupations In-Demand candidates to apply for a provincial nomination in October 2 draws (WWICS: 04201910Ga1552)

The province holds second round of major draws in two weeks

The Canadian province of Saskatchewan holds its 2nd Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP) draw in just one week to issue a total of 610 invitations under its Express Entry and Occupation in Demand (OID) subcategories.

In the  October 2nd draw, SINP has invited 396 Express Entry candidates with minimum score requirement of 68 points t o apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence.

Another 214 candidates have received invitations under Occupation in Demand (OID) subcategory with minimum score being 68 points only.

As per the SINP report, the invited candidates represent 77 occupations, which included human resource professionals, engineers, computer network technicians, legal assistants, educational counsellors, natural & applied science researchers and cleaning supervisors.

Saskatchewan has recently revised the SINP in demand occupation list to add more than 200 NOC occupations making it one of the best pathways to get provincial nomination for permanent residency in Canada.

SINP is also one of the easiest provincial programs to apply. While a minimum of at least one year of full-time work experience is essential to apply for both of its subcategories – Express Entry and Occupation in Demand, a job offer or work experience in Canada is not required to be eligible.

Express Entry candidates, who obtain a nomination through the SINP’s Express Entry sub-category, receive additional 600 points toward their CRS scores, effectively increasing their chances to get an invitation to apply (ITA) for Canadian permanent residence in subsequent Express Entry draw.

The invited candidates now have 60 days to submit their complete application to Saskatchewan Immigrant Nominee Program (SINP).
